A project by Svyatoslav Ponomarev was established in 1999 as a “Theatre of Tibetan music PURBA,” which dealt exclusively with the reproduction of ancient Tibetan rituals of Buddhist and Bon traditions. Recently the draft PURBA has been working in two directions without mixing them - the traditional Tibetan and industrial, which is closer to the areas of drone, and spontaneous performance.
